Hi, I’m Angie

People often ask me why I became a therapist…

Let’s start with how it changed my life!

Years ago I was where you are today. Desperate to understand myself and learn how to inject life into my marriage that was starting to look more like roommates than romance.

We had different styles of dealing with conflict. I was the classic ‘maximiser’ - pressing to resolve our differences, wanting to address our lack of connection. My husband was the classic ‘minimiser’ - withdrawing to keep things calm and settled, hoping issues would blow over if he did nothing.

We were together, but lonely and hurt together.

Sound familiar?

My despair led me to EFT counselling and then to further train in EFT counselling. I threw myself into retraining and up-skilling with one goal: to find a way to work through our repetitive, painful patterns, and to find a way of relating to each other once again.

And guess what? EFT transformed my marriage. It brought love, life and connection back into our family.  I’ve now been married for 37 years, and I have three adult daughters and three gorgeous grandchildren.

I’ve witnessed so many clients walk away lighter, more free, and more excited about life than ever. This transformation is what drives me to help individuals and couples like you.

And that’s why my focus is on restoring relationships because they’re essential to our happiness. When we’re in session either in the office, or via Zoom, I’m working with you towards one goal: restoring and deepening your connection with your partner, yourself and or loved ones.

Your life matters, the quality of your relationships matter, and if you’re looking for help, I’d love to be the person to gently walk beside you.

My philosophy is this:

“Because we are wounded in relationships, we can also heal
in relationships.”
